Every NordPPS compound begins as a specification, not a catalogue item. We formulate rubber and polymer compounds in Estonia — matched to the mechanical, thermal, and chemical demands of the application, and built to EU regulatory standards from the first mix design, not adjusted to it afterward.

Polymer performance isn't generic — it's the outcome of deliberate compound design. Every formulation we develop accounts for:

  • Mechanical performance — hardness, tensile strength, elongation, and compression set, matched to the load and movement the component will actually experience.

  • Environmental resistance — cold-climate flexibility and ozone/UV resistance suited to Nordic and Baltic operating conditions, not warm-climate defaults adapted after the fact

  • Chemical and thermal resistance — formulated against the oils, fuels, coolants, or process chemicals the component will be exposed to in service

  • Regulatory compliance — REACH and relevant EU standards built into the formulation stage, so compliance isn't a retrofit or a certificate chased after production

We formulate across the elastomer families that cover the majority of Baltic and Nordic industrial and automotive applications, including:

  • NR (Natural Rubber) — high resilience and tensile strength for dynamic, high-load applications

  • NBR (Nitrile Rubber) — oil and fuel resistance for automotive and industrial sealing applications

  • EPDM — weather, ozone, and cold-temperature resistance suited to outdoor and Nordic-climate use

  • SBR — cost-efficient general-purpose compounding for high-volume applications

  • Custom blends — formulated to a specific technical requirement where standard elastomer families don't fully meet the spec
